Sam Obey is a musician, producer, deejay, and label boss based in Brooklyn, NY. Over the past several years as Obey City, he’s released a pair of sister EPs on the UK label LuckyMe, been featured on BBC Radio and toured throughout the US, Japan, Australia and Europe. His eclectic blend of electronic, soul, hip-hop and dance music has allowed him to share the stage with everyone from Kode 9, Cashmere Cat and Kelela to the Flatbush Zombies.
Over the past year he has been finishing up an ambitious solo LP debut under the name Sam O.B and, in addition to his own personal output and collaborations, has continually helped curate parties throughout NYC and a stream of successful releases through his label Astro Nautico.
